TORCHWOOD THIS WEEK

Torchwood has its UK premieres on Fridays now. Episode 2-
12 Fragments premiered on BBC Three last night. It will premiere on
BBC Two and BBC HD on Friday 28 March at 9PM GMT. Episode 2-13 "Exit
Wounds" will premiere on BBC Two and BBC HD on Friday 4 April at 9PM
BST. BBC Three has not scheduled Exit Wounds yet - it will air at
some point after the BBC Two broadcast. Torchwood's finale comes one
day before Series 4 of Doctor Who begins on BBC One.

The reason for the change from Wednesday to Friday - the UK version
of The Apprentice is back for a new series on BBC One. Wednesdays 9PM
from 26 March, with the elimination show on BBC Two at 10PM. Hosted
by Sir Alan Sugar, The Apprentice has been very successful, and
presumably the BBC does not want to have Torchwood and Sir Alan in
competition with each other.
